free muscular health checks

As a Clinical Canine Massage Therapist with the Canine Massage Guild I am permitted me to offer 'Free Muscular Heath Checks'.  A Muscular Health Check uses of the art of advanced palpation to examine the dog's muscles underneath the surface of the skin using my hands and fingers.  The touch that I use has been developed to look for differences in the muscles tone, texture, tenderness or temperature.

It will involve me checking around 40 pairs or 80 muscles and will last 5 to 10 minutes.  This is not a massage, it is a palpation, and I would require veterinary consent before I can administer treatment on any issues that I may find.

I will be looking for things such as Muscle Strains or Tightness, Trigger Points, Wide Radiatiating Myofascial Pain.

how to get a free muscular health check

Free Muscular Health Checks are available at the Clinic, by appointment only.

Alternatively, I will be out and about during the year at local fun dog shows, village fetes or Bark in the Park Events with my stand, offering Free Muscular Health Checks and talking about the benefits of Clinical Canine Massage & Canine Conditioning.  I also attend several sporting events and camps - agility, obedience & mantrailing - throughout the year.

I am available to attend local dog training clubs to give a short presentation on how Clinical Canine Massage Therapy can help their members, as well as offer Free Muscular Health Checks.   Please get in contact if you would more information.

I also accompany the Canine Massage Guild to bigger events, such as Edition Dog Live and DogFest, which are great opportunities to talk to a Network of Therapists and get invaluable advice.
